Right now I have the Eagles to win the division with relative ease. In fact I have them going to the Super Bowl. The Main question mark on the team is health. If McNabb, among others, can stay healthy they're just as likely as anyone to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.

wow, fanciness, hope the eagles can live up to ur posts...a real possibility, but it all depends on like TC said, the health of mcnabb...we shall see....

well we proved that we can win without him. by no way am i saying we don't need him but we did win a playoff game without.

i forsee us as the nfc champions if: 1. McNabb 2. Westbrook 3. Kearse all stay healthy

I see it very hard to keep all three of those guys healthy, esp McNabb. And even if they stay healthy they have some solid competition in the Saints and the Bears, and even the Cowboys. And I don't think the Eagles can win w/o McNabb this season, last season maybe, but with Kolb as your backup ya'll better hope McNabb don't go down.

but the nfc has been water-downed for years now. at any point, in any time, anyone could take it. not being a homer or anything, i just feel that on paper without injuries the eagle look like the best all-a-round team in the nfc.

Philadelphia Eagles Great Thread!

I like what you have done here, nice layout.

And BTW I believe AJ Feely would start over Kevin Kolb in the unfortunate event that a back up is needed.
Since we are on the subject, it is the game of football and any player could get injured at any time. I think the Eagles have more depth across the board than they have had in a while.

Likewise...& less than 3 hours

I don't ever remember being this excited about a preseason game before and Mcnabb isn't even going to play. I'm just so curious about the depth and seeing who is up to the challenge of stepping into the spotlights and making a name for yourself out of the young talent. I guess over the past couple seasons the Veterans have spoiled me with reliable production and I know what to expect from certain guys when they are fully healthy. I'll be watching for any fullback sets to see if Davis or anyone else has a leg up on Tapeh in the pass blocking area. Paying close attention to all the young LBs and what is behind Sean Considine at safety position. And with the defensive line being rotated the way Jim Johnson does in the regular season I'll really be looking at DT to see who is doing all they can to stop the run. I have confidence that there is good depth and experience on the ends, but the DT's are going to have to control the guys in front of them to really open things up for Trotter & Takeo. The best part is, after the game is over I can go scoop up madden 08 and situate the roster as I see fit, the season is almost here!

WOW That was a bit surprising. Every time I think Eagles D, I always though Trotter. Now that he's gone I'm gonna have to think Dawkins >.< O well he had a good run, let's see where he goes next. O btw, the Cowboy in me says Woohoo!
