if he continues to play, the way his has been in the pre-season, well into the regular season i think it spells the end to any offers for little john smith. and right now i'm not too upset by it, but we'll have to see how much playing time, if any, he gets in the reg. season

I've heard people compare the two and the thing I miss most about Chad was his reliability in blocking. I've got to see more of this kid before I invoke one of the all time underrated eagles but I do like Celeks hands thus far. I even have to give Schoebel some credit as it appears he has been working on catching the ball also. Between the two of them I'm not worried so much about LJ not being able to play all 16 games, but like Donovan said, neither one of these guys is as athletic as Lj Smith. They just don't have that 2nd gear speed to sneak behind guys and work their way down field on a regular basis the way a healthy #82 can.

Ike Reese played in ATL and is now calling games, Hugh Douglass hung around the locker room perhaps too long. I don't see why Trott can't stay apart of the team if he wants to in some way shape or form.

As a Cowboy fan I just hope that the Cowboys play better and the Eagles fall apart at some point.

Also, FWIW, I have Dallas at 10-6 this season, so it's not like I think they'll suck. I just think a healthy Eagles team will be the best in the division.

I agree a HEALTHY Eagles team will be a hard team to beat. But the key is they must be healthy. But I do believe there is a good chance the Boys would give them a run for their money.

You have an awfully big mouth, don't you?

If there's a Cowboys fan that the rest of the FBB fanbase is ashamed of...IT SURE AS HELL ISN'T TC.

Grow up and learn some god damned objectivity.

It will be a good test for the 1st team defense. I will be glued to the first half of that game, I want to get an idea of how we might be able to run against yall.

Thanks man, but with you, Goose and Gzus around I'm definitely a lesser light in terms of knowledge here. You guys are always a fantastic read with your posts and I've learned a ton.

I am greatness, aren't I? LOL.

Sorry for taking your thread for a while Eagles fans, just had to say something, if anyone is an embarrassment to Cowboys fans, it's Owens81.

Good luck to your Eagles, no matter how much I hate them LOL.

Yes, back on topic.

Given how I see the records this season (the Eagles 1 or 2 games ahead of Dallas) those head to head games are going to be huge.
