Dallas Still Looking at McFadden

FanNation | Truth&Rumors | Dallas willing to deal for Hogs RB

As was speculated at the time of the trade with Cleveland, the worst kept secret for next April will be Dallas looking to make the necessary move to go after McFadden. Although I would imagine that this could change if Romo flops this season and the Boys think a QB is needed.

It just seems like a perfect fit to get McFadden. He looks to be a productive back, he goes to Arkansas(Jerry loves that), and JJ ain't all that consistant. I see us drafting McFadden next season, barring that rumored crazy trade for LJ.

Read over at SI at the same time that KC has absolutely no intention whatsoever to trade LJ to the Cowboys.

Yeah I saw that like 5 minutes after I posted. But then again you never know what may happen. The NFL is unpredictable, they may say one thing and do another. I say we draft McFadden next year with the Cleveland pick if possible, and try to save our original first rounder for a WR,Safety(If Hamlin doesn't pan out), or a CB

I do not know if he will be around when Dallas picks. Unless Detroit drafts another WR, there is a very good chance that they go after him, and as bad as Cleveland is, they are better than the Lions. Then there are the Riaders, who may want another RB and who could finish worse than the Browns. The Browns are good enough to finish with a 5th or 6th overall pick, and McFadden will not be around that long.

New Orleans Saints

Everyone said Quinn wouldnt last long and he stayed to the 21st pick so you never know whats gonna happen. Mcfadden would be a great pick. Jones aint really workin out anymore and Marion Barber cant take the load all by himself. You never know what could happen Romo could go down and the team collapses and they get a top 5 pick anything is possible in the NFL

Boys will probably have a top 5 pick and a mid-to-late 20s pick come next season's draft. There is always packaging up to get McFadden, and with Jerry being so high on Arkansas I wouldn't put it past him.

Sure it won't be us. It'll be interesting to see what Jerry will do with 2 1st rounders.

It all depends on the needs of the teams that finish below Cleveland in the standings. If the Raiders get the #1 pick again, you can bet that they will not go after another QB. If it is Detroit, they probably would. Then there is the injury game, and all sorts of other things that can dump a player from elite status to mid-low round 1. Even a bad loss in a Bowl Game can cost many positions. Just ask Quinn about that.

I just hope the Browns go like 2-14 or something like that this season. Then they can win all the games they want next season.

Unless the Cowboys go 2-14 or something like that they wont be getting McFadden. He will be the first pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. Which will go to the Cleaveland Brows.

So people think that Dallas made the trade with Cleveland so they can try and get McFadden next season? Thats really scouting ahead.
