Impressive. An inter-divisional fan rivalry that actually recongnizes a legit threat , instead of dismissing it with lame trash-talk.

Good on ya Goose!

I am not above lame trash talk to Eagles fans... I still hate yall. I just don't think Kolb was a bad pick.

I agree, I love when divisional rivals use picks on non-impact players...

With him getting hurt the past 2 seasons, maybe they're trying to get a decent backup considering you got rid of Garcia?

not only that, but Kolb was picked way too hi to be a gimmick or trade bait. This could arguably be Philly's road to the future and they're looking at McNabb as having no more than 2yrs left in the tank.

Kolb is the (in case of an emergency break glass) QB I think he is well needed sure they have other holes to fill but apparently they don't have much faith in McNabb. The beating he takes year in and year out will only lead to a short career so they gotta have a plan B.

Those of you who see Kolb as a good pick actually did your homework, or guessed correctly. Many teams had Kolb as the #3 QB on the board. Those of you that listen to ESPN should broaden your knowledge base, because ESPN is about as legit as the WWE is. Look at McNabbs history. He has been injured for 4 out of the past 5 years. Mentally, he leaves a lot to be desired. He is one of the major choke jobs in the NFL, and his career proves it. His performance in the Superbowl was totally amazing. Used up the entire clock in the 4th quarter to score 7 points when his team was down by 10. The reason why the Eagles got to the Superbowl to begin with was because the NFC was so weak. Any decent team could have beaten McNabb, as was proben by Carolina in '03 and Tampa in '02. Granted taking Kolb was a stretch, but how much of a bigger stretch than the Cowboys taking Spencer, who was a mid 2nd rounder at best, in the first round?
