Dallas Cowboys Cowboys Draft Party

Here it is, our own thread to talk about the picks as they happen and debate them after the draft. These next 2 days could put us over the hump... my ass is tighter than a school girl's on prom night right now I am so anxious.

By the way for any Cowboys fans that want good coverage online... SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket and click the listen online link. They have 10 hours of draft coverage and will give the name of the Cowboy's pick before ESPN announcces it. Great coverage all day long today and tomorrow.

Nice avatar MS. The D is going to be great next year against the run. Hopefully we can get the secondary somewhat stabilized.

Man o man, next season is gonna be sack-tastic. We got Ware, Ellis, and now Spencer. Wowee and with Wade Phillips messing around with the D, omg this is gonna be an exciting season. Wade is gonna have a field day just unleashing these pass rushers, I feel sorry for the opposing QB. I'm not so sure about us trading out of the second round tho, but since there wasn't a great player there I guess it was ok. BTW my guy Crosby is still on the board. Look for us to take him in th forth round hopefully, or gamble for him to fall a lil further. I love his cannon of a leg and watch him make our kicking game the best in the league, if we take him, McBriar top punter and Crosby top KOS. Hey and a 3rd and a 5th rounder for a probable top 10, if not top 5, pick next year is a damn good deal.

Cowboys have two picks in the opening round of day two.
The forth pick and the 22nd pick of the 4th round. And here are the guys still on the board we could take:

Antonio Pittman, Tanard Jackson, Michael Bush, Mason Crosby, and even Troy Smith.

I wouldn't mind picking up Pittman, Jackson, Bush, Crosby, or even Smith. Pittman and Bush could be a third string RB, or even a 2nd string if we can pull off some sort of trade of JJ. Jackson could provide us some depth in our ailing secondary. Crosby could become the next Vinatieri, has a killer leg and is accurate from far out, 60-65+ yards, and o btw i forgot to mention he can also punt. And smith would be a nice insurance policy behind Romo and Johnson, we could even convert him into something of a Randel El.

out of those, seeing we have two, I take Michael Bush and Mason Crosby.
