Cowboys, i think they're ready this time, no distractions or any of that crap going into the season and Romo will be ready.

Philly. All they did in the offseason was get better....and they won the division last year. Their young role players they relied on last year are a year better (Gaither, McCoy, Reggie Brown, Shawn Andrews is a 3rd year player and easily top 3 at his position, its scary.) Added Takeo, Considine will be more comfortable at safety where they threw him halfway threw the season last year. Dallas has a QB who was clearly figured out once other teams had film on him, and a brand new coach which coul dbe good or bad.

Eagles(11-5)
Dallas(9-7)
Giants(7-9)
Redskins(6-10)[at best]

Im laughing at the idiot who said the Redskins would win the division.

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHhahahh...

Not a chance.

Giants won't be nearly as good this year. That team is primed for a total meltdown.

Redskins have problems with pass rush but that offense is LOADED as is their secondary. Coaching is top-notch. Jason Campbell is going to do MUCH better than that with the experience he racked up last season.

Cowboys couldn't go 12-4 with Tuna. They certainly won't go 12-4 w/o him.
Ya giant homer.

Giants had a great draft and FA and have addressed all their holes. If they, as a team, can get it together (on the field and in the locker room) they have the talent to be 8-8.

Redskins are a joke, if you think they get more then 4 wins this year then you're dreaming.

As for the Cowboys, Tuna was WHY we didn't go 12-4. He ran a pathetically vanila defense that got tore apart and he got outcoached. Our offense was rocking and will be better this year since we return 95% of our starters and have a QB going into his 2nd year. Our defense was our weak spot last year and Wade Philips is exactly who we needed to fix that (though I wanted Rex Ryan) - add to that fact that we now have another pass rusher (Spencer) to compliment Ware and Ellis has made excellent progress in his recovery, I think the Cowboys are very well positioned to dominate the NFC East and have a good shot at going deeper in to the Playoffs.

The way I see it, we went to the playoffs last year DESPITE our piss poor DC/HC - we return all of our talented starters and have a better coach and defensive scheme that will wreck alot of havoc... We improved everywhere and didn't get worse anywhere...

Who's their starting left tackle? Jacobs is NO Tiki Barber. Not even close. Eli Manning is a poor QB. Rookies rarely pan out the way you want them to in year 1.

Mark this thread. We'll revisit so you can eat crow. Al Saunders is the premiere OC in this league. He will put it together. Outside of LT/Turner, there not a better rushing tandem than Portis/Betts in terms of pure power. I'm not even a Redskins fan but they will have 4 wins by Week 7 as they play Miami, the Giants, Detroit, Green Bay, and the Cards within that time frame.

Parcells ran what Romo could cram into his little ken-doll head. Tuna is a bastard but the guy knows football on a master level. You can make fun of his man-boobs, but not his coaching capabilities.

Dallas still has a mediocre pass rush. Again, you're counting your draft picks before they hatch. And that secondary is in for another thrashing this year.

No disrespect M-Hatter. Just friendly debate. But I'm definitely making a note of your comments here so we can revisit.

What the F* does Romo have to do with our Defense???

And our "mediocre" pass rush was BECAUSE of Parcell's/Zimmer and their incompentence at running a 3-4. Phillips will utilize the phenomenal talent the Cowboys have much better then they did. As for our "draft picks," there was only one and it was Anthony Spencer, a first round pick who reminds Wade Phillips of Shaun Phillips only better (same school, same position, and Phillips signed them both...) I have no doubt that Spencer will make an immediate impact in our linebackers rotation, and that the improved 3-4 system will make our secondary's job much easier, I mean San Diego had a Top 3 Defense with Jammer and a bunch of nobodies as their DB's and we have 2 ProBowlers - Trust me, I'm not worried...

Absolutely nothing. Obviously I misread. Apologies for that.

I know you're not worried mate. No one is worried in early May. I'll see you back here in Week 17 when the Cowboys aren't 12-4 (or better) and when the Redskins have their 4+ wins

I love how the team that won the division last year is completely ignored LOL, the team that won the division with their starting QB injured, the anchor and most important player of their D-Line going down in week 2, and only got better this offseason. I see the logic, definitely.
