Rumor: Redskins may trade for Briggs

Redskins may trade the 6th pick in the upcoming draft for the 31st pick and Lance Briggs.

Man what is it with the NFC East trading for great D?? This next season will be a good year in NFC East D and will feature many defensive battles. I'm not sure if I like this move by the Redskins, b/c they gonna be scary on D. But really how sure are we that this will work out?? Usually all offseason moves by the Redskins never pan out.

Wonder what the Bears have in mind for that 6th overall pick if this is the case.

Me too. I wonder if their thinking Peterson falls into their lap at pick 6.

Why would the Bears go for Peterson?? They traded away Thomas Jones so they could go with Cedric Benson, their first round draft pick just a few seasons ago. Why would you waste the money you have invested in Benson, to try out a new RB?

In my opinion if they get the deal done, they will prbly use the no. 6 pick to take Amobi Okoye. I really think he would be a great complement to Tommie Harris, seeing as more than likely Tank Johnson is not gonna be any help, even if he makes his way back some how.

I really hope this trade doesn't happen, b/c I would hate to have to watch the Boys go against Briggs twice next season.

Don't worry, once good players put on Washington uniformas they suddenly suck.

Benson is a nice complimentary back. I'm not sure he's a 20-30 carry type of guy, if Peterson is there with pick #6 i would think they would take him. Just my opinion..
