Eagles sign Wr Kevin Curtis

Finally the eagles spend some money on a WR. I can see Curtis as being a nice fit in the WR corps. Ron Dayne also might be interested. But I don't think the eagles will spend any money on him. Philadelphia Eagles

Maybe they can bring Fred Ex out of retirement... Curtis doesn't even scare me as a Cowboy's fan with the crapiest pass D in the league.

ummm no, he can stick to being a substitute teacher for the rest of his career..just keep him and his gods gift to the world hands away from the eagles.

the eagles had to do somthing a WR. i just dont see why they didnt spend the money to keep donte, i thought he was well worth it...and apparently so did a franchise that has made a recent habbit out of winning superbowls. well, we got curtis instead, and while i think hell be able to fill the role of speed reciever nicely, i dont think hell make the same impact donte would have...herers to hoping im wrong!

Good signing. A bit more than Stallworth, but when you consider how Curtis doesn't have the penchant for injuries that Dónte had, it seems about right. Kevin Curtis is fast, works very hard, runs good routes, makes catches in traffic, and did I mention he's fast? If that weren't enough, he's got the highest Wonderlic of any player in the NFL meaning he should be able to grasp Reid's complex offense relatively quick. Is it a bit much for a WR? Who knows, but the way the cap is now, you have to pursue these guys rather than rest on your laurels. This is exatly what Philly needed, because now you guys are 1 step ahead of where you were at last year, and the draft has yet to start.
