will be a hell of a game, watch out brees if the eagles blitz alot he'll be in for a long day. eagles should throw screen passes and run alot early, then look for brown and stallworth on some deep threats. EAGLES 27 SAINTS 17

gonna be a gooden, saints look like they may be gettin some back some valuable players and with the eags losing sheppard, the eags still look injury riddled. But in the playoffs that can all be thrown oot the window, eagles can perform in the playoffs and most of these saints seem untested. Im hopin the saints will play with the crowd in the dome and play to their talents, but only time will tell, i say 31-14 saints.....LET GO SAINTS!!!!

I wonder. Jim Johnson has played the non-blitz package a few times this season and it's bitten the team in the can. I almost get a feeling that they live off the adrenaline from the blitz to compensate for their average OLB play and spotty pass rush. Since Kearse went down, that pass rush stalled.
I hope they have a good package to deal with NO's weapons. The good news is that their D is very good on the perimeter and they have a good history of containing the scat back types (must come from practicing against one). Garcia has enjoyed a resurgence because he's reunited with a coordinator that knows how to tailor a gameplan to take advantage of his strengths and disguise his weaknesses. For example, I'm not sure Garcia has the sideline fade route in his arsenal. That takes some air under the ball, which he might not have anymore. He certainly has the slants and crossing patterns, though. Regardless, I'm guardedly optimistic that the Eagles can win the game. Their OL is playing exceptionally well, which means they should sustain drives. Their D is fast. Could be exploited by a power running game, but they match up well enough against the Saints. I think the Eagles win this game by four. Random-meaningless omen: Today, on an astronomy website I frequent, they had the Eagle nebula as the featured picture. Hey, I'll take it! |

Should be a good game. It's really tough to root against the Saints after all that happened to New Orleans. I really hope they can pull it off. It would be a really nice story.

What a hell of game by both teams. It was everything it was made up to be. Saints deserved that 100 percent. what a beautiful game by Duece. i give it up to that ole miss alumni. hes one hell of a player. and reggie, coming back after that huge hit by sheldon in the second play of the game. WOW! hes tha man....lucky we didnt capitolize on his fumble at the end....but they are both outstanding running backs for doing as well as they did. the firey gigner at QB wasnt enough for us but i dont blame him tho. westy could of had some better plays, but ovreall i give huge props to dem saints. im rooting for them the rest of the way....so heres to the saints!
LETS GO SAINTS!!! WIN THE NFC, THEN THE SUPERBOWL!!!! WOOP WOOP!!!! WHO DAT! WHO DAT!!! ps. mcnabb is starter next year. bank it. |
