GWT: Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks, Saturday January 6th 2007, 8PM NBC
May as well have a Game Week thread for the upcoming game against the Seahawks. The 'Boys have certainly had a rollar coaster season that saw a less than stellar start, a great middle and a weak finish. Is it time for Dallas to go back on the upswing? Or are the Seahawks going to bounce from their poor finish to make another run at the Super Bowl.

They need to get back to the kind of ball they were playing just a few weeks ago. If we do not get pressure on Hasselback we will be in for a very long day.

It's nice to have a quarterback who can hold for FG attempts, as it gives you the option for a fake.
Problem is, that by the end of the game they're usually physically and mentally exhausted. Just second-guessing, btw. Awful way to lose a game. It's gonna be a looooooooooooooooong offseason for Romo. Probably come back with a vengeance next season, though. |

I think that the defense showed up and played very well (2 INTs, 68yds rush, 220 pass) but our offense and play calling failed us. Romo was throwing balls in the dirt, TO was dropping everything, Glenn was playing suprisingly poorly, and our play selection was just horrid. At the end of the game though, Romo did what he had to to drive us down the field and if not for a horrid spotting of the ball on the Witten catch, we probably would have walked away with a TD. The muffed FG sucks, but Parcells should never have put us in that spot in the first place. I want him gone and I want it done Now!

Who would you like to bring in? How many play calls does Bill call in a game? If you want someone gone it needs to be T.O and then O and D Corrdinaters.

Chicago DC, San Diego OC, someone who understands the 3-4 and can stategize and scheme around the strengths of their players. As for TO, at this point he's not even a 25mm distraction

Oh and fyi Wags... I think BP is the OC and calls all the plays... he also has Zimmer as his DC but most people think its the same with Zimmer as it was with Payton where BP is making THEM look bad but on their own they'd actually be pretty good... it's also BPs fault for switching to a 3-4 when his DC doesn't know that scheme and he has to teach him but fails to do so....

Dallas was the one road team I picked to win. Tough loss.
Credit Seahawks defense but not their offense. A couple great tackles and defensive plays saved their season - along with the botched hold. In hindsight that safety probably helped Seattle. Julius Jones was much better than I thought tearing it up in the 4th qtr. Why is he on the bench in the red zone? Is Barber that much better and scoring?
