I would love to see them get Amobi Okoye from Louisville... the guy would be a perfect NT with his size and the way he stays low to the ground, he'd be immovable and he has the strength and prescence to clog run lanes up and he could learn under Ferguson for the next 2 years

If Justin Blalock OG (Texas) falls far enough the Cowboys would be a fool to pass on him, the biggest problem in Big D is Offensive Line and if Marc Colombo is starting for you….you know you got problems, but if they can’t get Blalock they should go after Levi Brown OT (Penn ST.) @ 6”5 325 lbs he could be exactly what “da boys” need on the right side of the O-line.

I agree - I also like Sam Baker. I just think there is too few talented NT's in this draft, and that's what we really need. The prospects available in round 2 for OG and T are out there, not to mention I think that Jerry and BP will go after Steinbach as an UFA in the offseason

Yep. The O-Line should be the number one priority.

sorry, just wanna go back to the '06 draft, it was a mistake taking carpenter, didnt like it when we picked him, wont ever unless he gets 8 sacks a year, we should have took Cromartie or Manny Lawson, but to the '07 draft, first things first, gotta get help on the o-line, draft Levi Brown, Justin Blalock, Sam Baker, and this might sound weird or right to some cowboy fans, but I think we should trade Ellis after the year, if anyone will take him, and give up the 3rd round pick, and try and get another first round pick, and with that one, we would take a safety, like Griffin, or if Reggie Nelson or Laron Landry is avalible, and 2nd round, get a kicker, I am serious, the next adam vinatieri with a stronger leg in this league will be mason crosby.

You my friend... are nuts~
First off... round 1 would be nice to see a OL, but there are 3 (yes three!) DT that would fit our 3-4 system and be the perfect NT behind Ferguson (who won't last but MAYBE 2 more seasons, if that...) and Amobe is one of them. Second off... Greg Ellis won't go anywhere... the guy's a beast and him and Ware are TOO crucial to our D to let go without replacing, and nobody in our lineup can do that... look at how we're doing with out Ellis vs. when we had him. Third... I would look to take a Levi Brown in the 1st, but if we take a NT instead, I would be ECSTATIC if we took Jared Gaither in the 2nd... the guy is 6'9 350lbs and hasn't given up a sack in 3 years... he's the perfect Guard for us. Fourth... Throw in a Tackle in the 3rd or 4th and we have ourselves a solid draft. The LAST thing we need is a Safety, Corner or LB after taking Watkins last year, and having the lineup we have. Now if Revis or Hall Falls to us in the late 20s then sure we'll take him purely because it's nuts not to, just like we'd take Ginn JR or Jarrett if they fell to us too, but that's not where we'll focus. And for godsake... NEVER draft a F'ing Kicker unless it's Day 2... |

That's like showing me a picture of TO dropping the TD pass that same game and saying we need a WR... Comon We JUST drafted Watkins last year, he's getting much better and starting to steal time from Davis... think of it like a FSBC (Free Safety By Commision) setup where we match their skills to the situation. And Give Watkins some time to perform - if he doesn't step up Next year, then MAYBE we consider someone in FA |

I think we need safety That would help us the most
The way Davis and Roy are playin they couldnt cover a pot of boiling water even if the lid was on the pot. WE NEED SAFETY HELP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
