Dallas Cowboys Missing Pieces - Cowboys

Now that we've finally gotten rid of Bledsoe, and it appears we have a strong candidate for Franchise QB (First solid candidate since Aikman retired in 2001,) what's the missing piece?

Offensive Line is being upgraded, but is it good enough?
Julius Jones / Marion Barber tandem has potential, but I'd like to see Barber take more carries...
TO, Glenn, Crayton, etc - I'd say TO is the weakest link in that tandem, but that's personal hatred speaking not facts...
Witten, Fasano - both are solid enough, I don't think this is the problem...

DL? LB? DB? ST?

Where are we weakest at? I'm looking at our Coaches...

When your team lacks the discipline that we did against the Redskins, and the piss poor play calling (3rd and 18 and we run a draw???) then I think we have to look at the coaching staff.

Will Parcells be gone at seasons end when we don't make the playoffs?

The team needs two new safeties and a lot of help of the offensive line. Oh, and some help up front on defense -- I'd like to see one guy that can rush the QB.

Yes, unless he decides he needs more money.

I don't think our Safeties are bad... they are damn good, but they don't work well when the corners aren't lockdown safeties...

Good? I can't agree. They were terrible on Sunday and have been getting burned all year. They make stupid plays and have no ball skills. The free safety position is terrible.

Roy Williams continues to have the same problems he's had as a rookie with pass coverage. Way too often he either takes a bad angle which puts him out of position to make a play on the ball or he takes a stupid pass interference penalty.

That play in the 4th quarter on Sunday was pathetic. Williams had no idea where the ball was and just ran over the receiver. What makes it worse is that the Cowboys practiced that situation during the week. They worked on deep ball coverage with the safeties, and Williams still doesn't know what to do.

I think our Corners are why our Safeties look bad... Roy is a hard hitting guy that goes for the INT... every QB in the League knows that if they put a ball up in his area, that he's likely to come down with it.

The play on Sunday was ugly, I know and I was pissed too, but he was trying to save a TD and if he had looked for the ball, he wouldn't have gotten flagged, but he didnt.

If we had a Mathis or Hall or other solid Lockdown Corner then Roy Williams would be awesome... as we're setup now though, Roy just isn't what we need... we need a cover Safety and have to hope that our front 7 can stop the run
