to me the true test is in week one. if they beat indy, i can see them going very far into the playoffs maybe even a confrence title. if they play well and lose in a close game, still have a shot going deep in the playoffs. they can prove themselves against indy and about manning, i agree he may not be ready right now to lead the giants to a super bowl, but i won't be surprised to see him greatly improve by the end of the season. by the time the playoffs rolls around he should be looking much improved from last season. maybe then will be the time. giants are the team to beat not only in the nfc east but i think in the whole nfc.

That's gonna e tough to do if they're all good.

Assuming the NFC East teams go 3-3 against each other, each one will have to be at east 7-3 in the rest of their games.

It's best to have one weak sister (ugh, that's a horrible term) in the division that the other teams can beat up on to pad their records.

I agree they are the team to beat. Manning is going to be something special this year.

Why does every mag I seem to pick-up have Tiki as a bust?

Go figure. Tiki leads the league in offense last year AND he plays in NY yet he doesn't get the respect he deserves. He may not put up last year's numbers but he's ceratinly not a bust unless he gets hurt. He's hit that 30 year old mark. A lot of people believe that RBs over 30 just drop off the face of the Earth. A lot of people smoke crack too.

There, I fixed it for you.

If the Giants beat Indy in Week 1 it will surely send a signal to the rest of the league that the Giants are for real. On top of that it will give Eli a great confidence boost beating his older brother.

I used to think that it would be a 4 team race in the east, but now I see it coming down to the Giants and the Cowboys. I think the Eagles and Redskins will end up out of it, and both the Giants and the Cowboys wit a shot at the playoffs.

I agree. Tiki is the man. He is definitely one of my favorite players.

I hope the giants go far this season. I think Eli is going to have a great year.

With a division that could come down to a bounce here or a interception, week one is just as important as week 16.

That being said, I really hope the Giants are going to live upto expectations this year. I think its going to be a fun year.

I give the Giants a good shot at winning the East this year and doing well in the playoffs.

They are not only the team to beat in teh NFC east they are the team to beat in the NFC. Last year the Colts and Giants both took quantem leaps towards this years Superbowl being another Manning Bowl the Seasons premier week one game will be the final game if two things happen one] both the manning boys stay healthy and two] no major off the field issues arise
