Dallas Cowboys Parcells or the O-Line??

We are having a debate in my fantasy league, which has several Cowboy fans in it (5 Dallas fans, 4 Giants, 2 Dolphins and 1 Jets). What is the problem in Dallas? Is the O-line just really that bad or has the game passed Parcells by?

I'd figure I'd bring this question over here to see how you guys feel about it.

After watching some Dallas games I think the problem is the O-line.

Parcells and his decision to not upgrade the O-Line. So, technically a bit of both.

QFT

It's a combination of both, IMO.

If you guys are going to blame Parcells for not upgrading the line then maybe the real problem would be Jerry Jones.

Not really. While they never should have bothered with Owens, Parcells has had 3 drafts to upgrade the OLine and decided not too.

Parcells came to Dallas so he could "buy the groceries," so he's as much a problem with any players moves as Jones. Sure, Jones is the one responsible for trying to convert baseball players into quarterbacks, but Parcells is the one who thinks the solution to any QB or line troubles is to find an old guy that played with him before.

Maybe if Jones wasn't so crazed about getting TO they may have pursued Hutchinson to improve the O-line.

Maybe the Dallas fans here can help me rehash the last few drafts and what they have done with free agency regarding the O-line.
I know in 2003 they drafted Al Johnson (C) in the 2nd. Is he any good? A lineman from Wisconsin is usually a good bet.
In 2004 they drafted Rogers and Peterman in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
2005 it seemed like they concentrated on defense.
The last draft I found a little weak. Why did they draft Fasano in the 2nd?

Because Parcells likes Fasano's dad. And because they had to get rid of Dan Campbell to make TO happy which created an opening for a blocking TE. And because Big Bill made the genius move to go to a two TE set to try and protect Bledsoe better. And because they didn't think the linemen available were good enough to be taken when the Cowboys drafted, so instead of drafting for need, they went with the best player available that had some weak ass ties to the New Jersey Con Man.

Parcells has been forced to follow will of an overbearing owner and college like fanbase... so to say he was allowed to shop for the grocerys is an overstament.... while Jerry is not as bad as he was when he fired Landry via phonecall and hired his former buddy Jimmy.... he still has guided the front office to pick up a traveling circus known as "Yo is me" and not looked to help F.Adams on the line.... but their line is the ISSUE.... Bill has not lost his savy, his IQ hasnt gone down he has won everywhere else.... even in spots like the Jets who hadn't been good since Broadway Joe till Bill.... so an uninspired O-line is the problem they havent been given any help from Jerry's front office skills

LOL! You know, I've thought the exact same thing many times before. I'm glad to see him finally getting out of his comfort zone with Romo.
