I'm going for Obama/Biden. Their ticket is the most solid because I am voting for change. McCain is too old and is too much like Bush for me to vote for, and Palin doesn't help his cause either. Honestly someone who has never worked in national government and someone who claims she has foreign policy experience because Alaska is next to Russia and Canada..... Shoot my little sister (9 years old) has had a passport longer than Palin, I've personally been to more countries than Palin and have been outside of the country which I doubt she has. I think that a presidential ticket needs to also include a strong VP, which the McCain camp doesn't have. I mean honestly if you can't come up with another Supreme Court case to disagree with other than Roe v. Wade I'm concerned when you're running for the second highest ranking job in the country which you will likely have to make decisions when it comes to Supreme Court appointments and other legislations, come on there are others like Gregg v. Georgia which deals with the death penalty or just maybe some basic ones like Miranda v. Arizona (I mean hell I'm not a law student and not running for public office but I know more court cases than that woman).

these are the questions we really should be asking i am too young to vote, but if i could i would vote McCain. Obama just strikes me as a liar and a superstar. I don't think he could run this country without really screwing things up. Honestly, I dont like either of them, but McCain is the lesser of two evils

Honnest, I'm a Canadian so I can't vote for either of them... The real things that are going to be of interest are #1. Is this election going to be shrowded in controversy like the last two? #2. What side are the controversis going to be be comming from/who will they benifit? #3. Will voter turn out be as strong as the last time, or will the numbers dwindle? #4. If Obama is elected, how long will it be before someone tries to kill him off... As sad as that last one is, it's my opinion that it a harsh fact of reality should he win the election... The saying "May you live in interesting times" applies here I would think, only interesting should be taken as a period of instability, unpredictability and controversy.

Obama/Biden.
First of all, I'm a Democrat. Second of all, I used to respect McCain until he sold his soul to the far right in order to get votes. Third of all, Sarah Palin. Fourth, although I don't mind fiscal conservatism, I passionately hate social conservatism, and the McCain ticket has much more of that...obviously.

Obama and Biden. Obama has been right on the the major issues we face today where as McCain has been wrong and stubborn.
Obama/Biden=bringing the middle class back. McCain /Palin=continued failed Bush policies.

McCain's campaign just came out and said they are gonna launch new attack ads and tactics against Obama's past and judgement. Honestly when there is an economic crisis talk about how you're gonna help our country and economy instead of personal attacks. It's sad on the McCain/Palin campaign's part and shouldn't win any votes, if anything lose votes for being so stupid.

for starters i am not dumb enough to vote for a bush look-alike. the closest i'll ever come to voting for a republican is if richard nixon ran again. watch the kennedy nixon debates. nixon was great. & that was 1960.
1st thing i can think of tho is it'd be nice if McCain had to follow the cokehead Bush & attempt to fix that mess. but we can't afford another oil loving idiot. i don't care to have to listen to opponent bashing ads like McCain is coming out with. i haven't seen an Obama ad bashing mccain yet. ( the ads bashing like what i just did to Bush) Palin is nothing more than playing the gender card , same as Obama playing the race card. being female doesn't make you qualified. being black doesn't or being white doesn't. Hillary pissed me off bad at the last of her run, she played the gender card. Obama for change? i doubt that will happen. he has to deal with the republicans in Congress & change won't take place. they'll shut him down same as they did Jimmy Carter. one joke going around was to have Bill Clinton run as Obama's vice & 15 minutes after the election we'd have Bill back in the Whitehouse again. well if nobody has made an attempt to shoot the moron in there now, i think Obama will be safe enough. maybe i should write in Gzus he's made more sense than the other 2 have. i don't care for either of these two candidates at all. Hucklebee made more sense to me than any of the others & i still voted for Hillary in the primary & i will write her name in on the ballot in November. the only changes i see taking place will be Obama lining his pockets instead of Bush lining his. or McCain continuing to line the Bush family pockets with more of the same. i may consider voting for Obama if you put A "G" in front of it. G O BAMA lmao !!!!!!!! |

Having spent a good deal of time at HFBoards, HFBroads and here I've been exposed to a lot of young people.
Taking that in mind, there is only one issue i care about: ABORTION. I'm very much in favor of it. Sterilzation, too. |

Obama-Biden
For the past 8 years, I have watched our economy plummet in the hands of the republicans. Mccain is a poor mans George Bush and that's not what we need in office. Mccain wants to keep Bushs tax breaks for the higher class..the rich get richer. Obama is going to bring the middle class back. He wants to install a tax program that will benefit the middle and lower classes. Obama has kept focused on his campaign while Mccain seems more focused on personal attacks on Obama. Now to the VP. Obama wins this hands down. Biden has more experience and is a better public speaker than Palin. Palin has no substance when she speaks, and in the VP debate, she danced around every question that was directed at her. Not to mention the debate time was reduced for her lack of experience. |

I'm not voting... I'm disgusted with both my options. I don't think either one of those jokers is going to do a bit of good honestly.
Change? Do you honestly think Obama is going to change anything? Well, okay he may switch whos companies and intrest groups the administration has loyalties to... and he may switch some policies around to suit his view... BUT in the end your still going to have one half of the country that doesn't like the way the country is run and doesn't agree with our president's policies. So what does it solve really? What good has he done for America... and I say AMERICA... not the democrats. Let me say though that I don't think a republican canidate could unite us either... and to be honest it'll never happen... its all FUBAR and I don't know what the real answer to fix it is... but believe me, niether McCain or Obama is the answer... especially at this point. |

Okay, so regardless of whos on the ballot, as long as they are democrat thats who your voting for?? Great, thats the kind of logic we need these days... Used to respect McCain until he sold his soul to the far right? Are you kidding me? What you really mean is until he sold his soul to the far right instead of the far left to get votes? The far right can't stand him anyways... hes very liberal in their general opinion, as well as mine. I think the republican party could use a touch of liberal from time to time though... as well as the democrats using some conservative from time to time. You say Sarah Palin, the republicans are saying Biden as more then likely the number two reason why they aren't voting for Obama. Hes extreme left wing... So again wheres the difference? You've got to put it all into perspective... |
