its the yankees and i hate it cuz i am a Red Sox fan. look at the lineup:

Damon, Jeter, Abreu, Sheff, Giambi, ARod, Matsui, Posada, and Cano.

thats a $@#$@ sick lineup. any decent pitching can roll with that lineup.

BUT JUST WAIT TIL MY SOX GET SORIANO AND WELLS!!! HERE WE GO!!!!!!

I think their line up hinder's them, come playoff time, they rely to much on the long ball, who in that line up (other than Jeter) is going to manufacture run's, they are incapable of playing small ball. I think they have way to many ego's. From 96-01 they had team player's, Williams and Jeter are the only team guy's left.

they dont rely soley on the long ball. they have a starting lineup where everyone has been to at least 1 all star game, and 8 have been to at least 2. they are all patience hitters that make pitchers work for outs. that alone wears down a staff. they hit a ton of doubles. they are stacked. i hate it sooo much but i gotta respect it.

I am going with the Cardinals just because they have been shut out the last three years. Did it not take Larussa a couple of years to finally break through with the A's back in the 90's.
