Favorite Comedies on TV

Growing up I watched a lot of TV and loved comedies. But now I hardly watch any of them. I like Better Off Ted and the Office.

What else is worth watching that's a comedy?

1. Family Guy
2. South Park
3. If you have HBO, then Curb Your Enthusiasm is hillarious...

I find that the shift in TV these days is towards dramas with a mystery element to it... Which is great for me because I love the model.

This is a must watch for comedies.

South Park, ATHF and Cougar Town. CT started off a little hokey but it's turned into a pretty funny show. Everyone I know says Modern Family (or something like that) is supposed to be funny as hell, but, I've never watched it.

I'm particular. The typical network comedy genre really, really sucks. You know, like "Two and a Half Men". Whatever. The laugh-track stuff. Ha-ha-ha . . . ha-ha . . . and ha! It helps remind people when to giggle, I guess.

Okay. Even though it doesn't fall into that classic-comedy slot, I really enjoy "Pardon the Interruption". Those two knuckleheads spin sports in a very funny way. And that's good. I once E-mailed PTI regarding baseball socks and how the players need to snap out of the nerd look and get those stirrups up high, again. You know, like the old days of Frank Robinson and Vida Blue. Long story short: nada.

Next, is "Reno911". My kind of comedy. I must have at least 60 episodes recorded on my DVR. Some are better than others, but they all make me chuckle. Those three white dudes boomin' in the 'hood is classic.

Of course, those old "Magnum PIs" are funny, too, when Higgy Baby has the Lads go after Magnum's sorry ass. Great stuff.

I'm currently addicted to 30 Rock. You should check it out, it's hilarious.
The comedy can be so random that you never know what craziness might happen on the show.
