James Brown, the 'Godfather of Soul,' dies at 73 - CNN.com

For those of us that grew up on Hip Hop, Soul, R&B and funk, this is a huge loss. James brown was a legendary, groundbreaking singer who's influences can be heard, to this day and forever in such a wide array of music.
