ESPN Top Recruiting Classes of '08

Top 5 Recruiting Classes from 2008 as shown by ESPN.

1. Miami- Not a major BCS contender in recent years, the Canes have gone deep in recruiting linebackers. Look for them to have a strong D next season.

2. Clemson- Clemson boasts a strong offensive recruiting class led by No.1 rated prospect Daquan Bowers. In addition, they gained No.3 ranked TE Dwayne Allen(darn UGA almost had him).

3. Alabama- Likely to be their best recruiting class this century, the Tide have a strong class. What makes this class all the more impressive is that they got key recruits in the positions they needed.

4. Florida- Most of their recruiting went into their defensive side of the ball, although they did manage to recruit wide reciever T.J. Lawrence, another weapon to add to Tebows arsenal.

5. Georgia- A strong recruiting class is led by defensive linemen Deangelo Tyson and Toby Jackson. Two strong offensive recruits are wide receiver A.J Green and Running back Carlton Thomas.

That guy at ESPN is a moron. The only people not to put Alabama at number 1 and the only one to have Clemson at number 2 and probably the only one to not have Terrell Pryor as the #1 recruit

HA! Putting Notre Dame at 9th when they have 10 of the ESPN's top 150 players... funny.

Its not just about getting the ESPN 150 prospects, you need to be well balanced in all the recruiting, and just because somone isnt in the 150 doesnt mean they shouldnt be.

Ohio State....just landing Terrelle Pryor from Jeanette High School in Pennsylvania should put them into the top 5. The kid will be a star in 2 years. The next college player like Vince Young.

Yeah, One Good Recruit Makes Them The Best. . . Take A Look At The SEC. Each Team In There Makes About 3 or 4 "Terrell Pryors" In Recruiting Every Year. Ohio State Is Crap In A Weak Conference.

I think Clemson is doing well but I think they need more defense.

Why? Because it doesn't have Oklahoma on it?

Guess what? Oklahoma blows.
