I fail to see how California wins. Looked like Texas to me. The one high school had a big winning streak, against other California Schools, which doesnt prove anything except that there is no competetive game in California.

How about the best area for high school football? Western Pennsylvania, or better yet, the WPIAL. The area is way smaller than a lot of metropolitan areas, definitely miniscule compared to Texas, Florida, or California, but it has produced some of the best high school players that have starred in college and again in the pros. No area of the country has been better, and that is a fact.
The top player in the country this past year came from there too...Terrelle Pryor of Jeanette HS. And by the way, Jeanette HS is a Class AA school, the second smallest classification in the state. But actually, Jeanettes' enrollment qualifies it for Class A, the smallest, but they choose to play up. |
