Texas has the best group of players coming out of it - not saying that Texas College Football is the best, but the state of Texas produces the best college talent in the States IMO

as of right now, i see that three people have voted, "other". i'm curious as to know what other states you thought had better high school talent than florida, cali, texas, and ohio.

Well, I voted Texas, but you could make small cases for New Jersey and maybe Washington and Michigan

New York has a pretty big high school football following in certain areas.

They even play in Giants Stadium against the New Jersey state champ!

I'm in New York, but on the border of NJ - Jersey wipes the floor with NY for the most part. Aside from New Rochelle in NY, Jersey has about 15 teams that could dominate NYSHSF leagues.

My dad played high school football for the town right across the river from Philadelphia. Can't for the life of me remember the name, though.

They were pretty good too.

It's pretty cool, I live right down the road from Don Bosco Prep in NJ, the HS that Anthony Fasano went to. Then seeing him play for Dallas last night made me realize that these talents can be anywhere in the USA.

But mostly in Texas

FL, has enough talent to make FSU, the U, and UF powerhouses almost every season plus some other top players going to ND,the ACC, and SEC.

The same can be said about Texas - they provide players all across the Southern tier and also extend north.
