Riley Dodge: Southlake Carroll

Anyone on here from the Lone Star State know much about where Riley Dodge might move on to from Southlake Carroll? Big Showcase game coming up on the 15th of September.

I believe he was going to Texas but has switched his commitment to North Texas.

What about Blake Cantu? I know he plays at SouthLake Carroll and he'll be playing at Oregon next year. I was just wondering what kind of Player we can expect?

You are correct sir. He was orginally commited to come play here, but switched his commitment to North Texas. (wonder why....)

DD, here's his profile from Rivals.

Blake Cantu - Football Recruiting

Cantu catches mostly everything that comes his way. He has very deceptive quickness, good speed and is a great deep threat. He can go over the middle for you too. He probably won't come in and light it up from the start, but who does? He will be good in Oregon's offense.

Why wouldn't you go and play for your dad, when he is the head coach? I would b/c you're almost guaranteed to start.

They need somebodys help, they just look horriable, the ol' carrol spread does not work that well in collegate levels.

Theres alot of upprcrest programs that run a spread these days.

yourmom, the spread is a great offense, especially at the college level, all teams run a version of it, it creates disadvantages for your skill guys. The spread is the way to go if you want the athletes to come out...observe CFB this weekand and see how many teams run there own version of the spread, it WORKS !!!!

I guess what i meant to say untill he gets the players to run it (recruits) so it might be a long two to three years....oh well it is not like there is a tradition of winning teams here. It was nice to see them go to a bowl game every now and then.
