omg, they very first play of the clip of Simi Fili, he blew up the center, and ran right over the RB, every play I saw, he just destroyed the center, and got into the backfield, your getting a great player there, wade look good, hes got some good speed for a DT, he a good pass rusher and Run Stuffer at DT, but if you had to choose between Wade and Fili, I would take Fili in a heartbeat.

Thanks man, Ive heard great things about Fili from other Oregon fans. I wanted to hear an objective opinion. Wade had offers from just about every major program in the country i'm anxious to see both these guys. Both might start immediatly as freshman.

Not going to work Pete....

From OregonLive

One of the most talked about players on the USC recruiting board is three-star defensive back Anthony Gildon of Oaks Christian HS in Westlake Village (CA). Gildon verbally committed to Oregon early on in the process, but recently took in an official visit to USC after receiving an offer midway through the season.

Gildon got to take in the sights and sounds of Los Angeles on an official visit, and came away very impressed.“The trip was good,” said Gildon. “Real good, everything went real well.”

Gildon’s host for the weekend was Allen Bradford, and the two got along really well.

“Allen Bradford was my host, and he was real cool. He was a real good host and gave me a lot of really good information, and he took care of me. He basically told me if I want to come in and play that it’s all on me and the coaches will give you a shot. He told me you practice against the best every day, so when it comes game day, its easy.”

Not only did Gildon get a chance to check out the football facilities, but he also had a chance to experience the Galen Center while he was down there.

“We went to the basketball game against Arizona State, and that was real cool. The crowd was really hyped up.”

Most people would expect recruits to enjoy a particular event on their visit, but for Gildon, it was another aspect of the team that really caught his eye.

“I really noticed how tight the team is,” said Gildon. “Everybody really gets along there. Even the coaches and the players get along well, so it’s a real close knit team.”

It was obvious that Gildon enjoyed himself on his visit, but was it enough to sway the talented defensive back in the direction of the Trojans.

“I’d give this trip a nine,” answered Gildon when asked to rank his trip. “I’m not quite sure what a ten would be, because you can never really have a perfect trip. But that was a close to perfect as you get.”

Gildon has not made a final decision about his status, but does admit that his most recent trip gives him a lot to think about.

“Yes, this trip does give me a lot to think about. So I’m going to go home and talk to my family. I’m not sure where my commitment with Oregon is, but I’m still solid.”

On the bright side we can expect at least 2 more 4 star ecruits to commit within the week.

Go Ducks!
