Yeah, god I miss playing football though. It was probably the best experience that I have ever had. Ill never forget that feeling, walking off the field for the last time, at state. Too bad we lost.

There isn't words that I can place on the feeling in our locker room after our last games. The years you spent with those guys on the practice field, in the weight room, working your ass off for that one shot at the championship.
Our coach was even in tears in the locker room trying to give one last speech. I have this picture of us, the seniors on the team, in the end zone in a huddle, holding our helmets up together. Its framed on my wall.

we lost the state championship my junior year. we had a guy sign with Bama, which is a big deal at the school i go to, and this year we got pummeled in the first round. a very sad way to end my career

Bama, thats pretty awesome. From my class, no one went to any big school, but a few of us went and played college ball.
But Tyler Roehl, who was a senior my freshman year is entering the draft this year and has been scouted by Green Bay and Oakland. Brian McNeil, who was a senior my sophomore year, who played and University of Nebraska-Omaha, is entering the draft as well. He was recruited by South Florida, West Virginia, Penn State and a few other schools but didn't have the grades. It would be pretty cool to say I played with 2 players that are in the NFL!

My high school would have had a couple kids go D-1 but our head coach didn't/doesn't believe in individuality so he doesn't pick up the phone to call some recruiters. If any come to our games they come on their own or other coaches call.

Keep him lifting hard, and send him to as many camps as possible. Who cares where there at. Each one will teach him something different.
