I would go with Rivers on this one, just due to his performance last week. Brett has a great arm, and can usually pull one out when they need it, but he doesn't have much to throw to. I have him on one of my teams, and I'm going to keep him benched, until I'm sure he is going to get things going.....

I am such a Favre fanboy it's hard, really hard to do that.. even though it's the common sense thing to do. If I go with my gut, it's Favre, if I go with who's a better pick it's Rivers........![]() |

Hey, next to the Denver Broncos, the Packers are my next favorite team, and Favre is one of those reasons. After watching his performance last season, I had concerns about how he was going to do, and in week one his play made me think it was going to be more of the same. Yet after the way he played in week 2, I am upset with myself for keeping him on the bench. I still won in that league, but I would have have gained even more points, if I had started him...... ![]() |

the thing is, he is STILL a top 5 QB, he just doesnt have the top 5 OL protection he did in years past. If they can get that line to gel and give him time, they have weapons to do great things offensively. not an every week start right now anymore, but against mid to lower tier teams (15-32) he is a pretty good play IMO.
