Sore Losers in Fantasy week 1
OK, I hate to lose as much as the next guy, but it's only week one, and in a one of my leagues we already have a sore loser. I just amazes me, that some players seem to think they are going to win every week, shoot not even professional teams can do that. OK, so the Dolphins did it, but it's a rarity........
Anyone else have this problem with their leagues, people whining about losing already.........???? ![]() |

Yup, I play a league with friends. A guy we all know played his first fantasy football league this year. He took steve smith with his first pick, and delhomme with his second.....that league has a season long of bitching ahead of it. Then again, because of his stupid selection, I got rudi johnson with the 10th pick, so I shouldn't complain that much. |

Oh that would hurt, picking up Smith, and not be able to play him. Wait, I have a team like that....... I just put him on my bench, and wait for him to heal... I guess you do good, by grabbing Johnson on the 10th, he was long gone in all of my leagues before that.... |

So what's this guy all upset about?
He's got only himself to blame for drafting a crappy team. I can see if he owns SA how he can be a tad upset. Still, if that was the case he was lucky enough to get him in the frist place. Nobody likes a cry baby. I hate losing as much as the next guy. I still have a bitter taste in my mouth from last year's playoff defeat. I still think my team was the best team in the league and that the eventual champ's team was not really all that good. However, I use defeat to motivate me. I turn the negative into something positive. I came into this season more prepared. I hope it pays off.

Whiners whine about everything. Fantasy football for week 1 was a little out of the ordinary. Lots of FGs and 3 shutouts that throws the league a little off balance. Over the season fantasy owners will see the usual suspects in the playoffs while the whiners are still wondering why Joey Galloway wasnt worth a 4th rounder.
