Dead teams in your league

Is it just me, or is having "Dead Teams" in your league, a royal pain. It seem like I have one in at least 50% of my leagues every year, if not more. If these people do not want to play, why join in the first place......

Maybe they want to play at first but than they lose intrest.

Yep, nothing worse then that. That is why we play for $100 or more and make sure we play with friends. It helps elimitae the chance that people give up, because they know they have money on the line.

I do see that as an advantage to having a "Pay" league, nobody likes to just give their money away, by paying to join and not even play......

Yeah I agree. Pay leagues almost assure you will have few dead players. What leagues you playing in if you dont mind me asking?

I am guessing the free yahoo leagues?

if youre playing in free yahoo, cbs, or espn leagues, and you DONT know everyone, then you will have ppl that lose interest. they might be really new to fantasy football or if they have a bad team, they get lazy when they start losing. i will only play in a league with ppl i know and/or charges a good dollar amount so there is a winner that gets a nice chuck of cash. personally, i want the trophy more than cash, but i am ultra competitive. lol!
