Laurence Maroney

What do you guys think of this guy? Do you think he'll get many touches this season in New England? Is he going to be a stud 2 or 3 years down the road?

Watching the first Pats pre-season game, I honestly feel that Maroney will have a huge role as a rookie.

When Dillion tires, in comes the rookie, or in situations where they wish to throw out of the backfield, a 1-2 punch with faulk and Maroney.

Not to mention should a dillion injury or slowdown occur, maroney will step right in.

He looks ready to play in the NFL, and with Dillon's injury history there is a good chance that will happen.

I think if you draft Dillon then you must draft Maroney as a handcuff.
I feel Dillon will get the rock the bulk of the time. He's a proven vet.
Maroney will get his shot if Dillon goes down. Can you predict injuries? Not usually. However, I'd sleep better at night knowing I have the next man in line.
