Auction Drafts vs Standard Drafts?

Every year I think maybe I will play in an auction league as really it is BY FAR the fairest way to draft. It allows EVERY owner a shot at the top 3 players and really involves a lot of strategy. BUT I cant break old habits and this year I am playing in 3 standard offense only leagues. Maybe next year I will convince one of the leagues to switch to an auction based format. Seems like lots of fun and a lot fairer.

Thoughts?
