As of this moment I'm guessing he'll drop to the end of the 1st or beginning of the 2nd in a 12 team league. There's now some risk involved. Something you try to avoid with a 1st round pick.

I would have to agree.. with the 5th pick he's too much of a risk I believe.. unless he's ready to go come week 1 and confident. Still added risk is never good. IMO he was a definite 4 or 5 pick, now he could slip to the late 1st if his injury nags on him...

LJ, LT, Tiki, Alexander, Brown, Cadillac, James, Johnson should have no problem going ahead of Portis.
I see him as between 10th and 15th overall. You are laughing if he last any longer, but he should easily be able to round out the first round. |
