Fourth Pick Help

I'm choosing fourth and I'm hoping that one of the top 3 pick Manning, but I'm trying to prepare for the worst. I'd like to see how people rank the best of the second tier RB's

I'm having a tough time with this one as there seems to be about 10 players that are very close after the big three. Which one of these guys is a "can't miss"?

I really can't choose between these guys, feel free to point out anyone I might be overlooking.

I like Steven Jackson, Ronnie Brown, or someone along those lines fourth.

Clinton Portis is gonna have a HUGE year. I'd go with him at #4.

To follow that up, go with either Portis or Barber.

I am extremly biased, but I dont think you can go wrong with Tiki. The Giants can occasionally throw the ball, and you have to respect that. I am not convinced Washington will have an effective passing game. I think teams will load up the box and try to make Brunell beat them, thus hurting Portis' bunbers a bit.

I think the best bet with 4 could be Brown.

Culpepper instantly makes Ronnie Brown 100x more dangerous and legitimate.

Interesting, Brown had already moved up considerably in my mind when williams moved to toronto, but I had neglected to consider the Culpepper slant... leaning towards Tiki tho just cuz he's more proven.

I'm sorry, but the lack of respect that Tiki Barber gets around the rest of the league amazes me. Yes, I am biased, but this is someone who led the entire NFL in total offense last year. I just dont see how anyone can say Ronnie Brown over him right now.

OK, thanks for all the help, Luckily, first went L.Johnson, second LT and third pick took Peyton!! so I got SA. not sure who will be left for the second round, (12 team league) but thankfully i didn't have a tough choice for fourth.

BTW, I would have gone with TIKI, I prefer my first pick to be a known commodity, someone I can count on, First pick has got to be "can't miss" gotta go, my second roound pick's coming up...

The exact same thing happened in one of my drafts. I was thrilled.

LOL, yeah, it was kind of messed up, I didn't get to pick a few times as my internet is kinda shady and times out from time to time... here's what I ended up with, in order of the round they were picked.

Shaun Alexander
Willis McGahee
LaMont Jordan
Antonio Gates
Reggie Wayne
Brett Favre <- yep, homer pick
Lee Evans
Derrick Mason
DST Colts
Philip Rivers <- I actually thought he had already been drafted... LOL
DST Bengals
Jeff Reed <- connection timed out and the computer figured I need to have a Kicker !??!
Chester Taylor
Joe Klopfenstein <-who? once again, not my pick...

p.s. as I was typing this my power went out entirely. Happens at least once or twice a week up here. Lucky the draft was already done and I'm on a laptop.

I guess while I wait for the power to come back I can explain a little bout where I'm from... born and raised in Edmonton (GO OILERS) I am now living in Yellowknife, (the Siberia of Canada) I work as a network analyst and since the power is terrible up here my job is very... ummm, interesting. The power is supplied by two old diesel locomotives that spin turbines. Its very sporadic and we get very dirty power with a lot of spikes and brownouts. It kills a lot of electronic equipment and, suprisingly, commercial refrigeration units are also quite susceptable. heh, while I was typing that part just now the power came back on, the lights grew very bright and then flickered for about 20 seconds and then slowly dimmed before going very bright and then the power cut out completely again looks like I'm gonna have a long day tomorrow.
