Advice on a pick needed

I am in a 12 team league that awards 6pts for recieving,rushing or passing td's. There are no pts for receptions. 1 pt per 10 rushing or recieving yds and 1 pt per every 25 passing yards.
I have the 6th overall pick. I expect the top 3 plus portis and tiki to go 1-5.
Should I pick Manning with my pick or a RB. If RB then who?

I would take either Peyton or either Rudi Johnson, Stephen Jackson, or Cadillac Williams

If it is a keeper league, take Peyton. If not, go with Steven Jackson or Lamont Jordan.

Never take a QB in the 1st round even if you get 6 pts per passing TD.
You'll end up with a crappy backfield and/or some questionable wideouts.
