Mizzou is flying under the radar!

Missouri has somehow claimed a 6-0 record without being noticed by pollsters and forum members alike. I think that Mizzou has to be the frontrunner in the Big 12 North, and am not looking forward to my Aggies having to face their tenacious defense which is ranked in the top 10!

Mizzou has had some decent starts in the last few years..Then they encounter the meat of their schedule...They had a good win over Tech...However...If history repeats itself this year...With A&M/OU/NEB and KSU still left...I see them finishing around 8-4 like usual...That doesn't mean that I wouldn't like them to fare better...I think they have a good program(capable of beating those above teams)...and I'd like to see them step up in the Big 12 as a contender.

I see Missouri going to a nice bowl game if they play well enough. Maybe even clashing with the Ducks in the Holiday Bowl if it plays out right.

I think strength of schedule and lack of being a powerhouse progam have kept them under the radar. Boise State seems to have the same problem with the pollsters.

Just got home from College Station, and I must say that the game Saturday certainly lived up to the billing. Missouri came in as a 1 1/2 pt. favorite and the game was close throughout, going to halftime notted up at 17 apiece. The second half saw both teams tighten up on defense with the Aggies only allowing a safety on bad snap. In the end, a fake field goal attempt from inside the 10 was snuffed out by the A&M defense and Jorvorskie Lane ran the ball and the clock to victory, 25-19. I was, however, very impressed with Missouri and quarterback, Chase Daniel. He is a young quarterback that can make all the throws. They should still give Nebraska a run in the Big 12 North.

First off Congradulations on a qaulity win. I was very impressed with Chase Daniel, that kid throw's a nice tight ball with good accuracy and velocity.
