Ohio State Has Chance To Redeem Themselves Early In 2008

Ohio State plays a always stout and reloaded USC team in 2008... Im not to sure about the actual date or even week... Im pretty sure its between weeks 1-4... My belief is that if we win this game it will partially lift that monkey off our backs.. Im not a complete homer cuz i wont say well be totally redeemed but somewhat we will... REACT TO ME!!!!

I start by saying USC is a very good football team and I am glad to see both teams playing each other but Buck to get that monkey off OSU's back you'll need to play and beat an upper SEC team. (ex. Georgia, LSU, Florida)

Ohio State has not defeated ANY SEC team. I hope USC kills them so we can bid them good bye as far as the National Title chase goes. The Big 10 is really weak, and their last efforts in BCS Games have shown that (0-4, none close).

Yes, beating USC would get them some credibility, but its not the same as beating a top-teir SEC team. Even having a solid win against a middle class SEC team would be good.

What SEC teams are better than USC? Gimme a break. If OSU beat USC next year (highly unlikely) they would for sure be able to shake the monkey off their back.

USC would've killed LSU in the BCS game.

I would put Georgia and Florida up against USC. Those are the teams as good as them.

Far be it from me to back a OSU fan, but this is exactly why I will give them a pass every now and then... at least they have the balls to schedule a game like this.

Doesn't matter what they do early in the season. They won't be able to truly redeem themselves until Januray.

If they beat USC, then they can beat any SEC team with exception of maybe Georgia. USC is loaded. They just need to learn to finish. I think it's going to be a tough one for Ohio St. If they were at home, they might have a chance.
