C'mon guys this is easy ... the highest winning percentage for any coach in the history of College Football (and actually they're wrong, his winning % was .881), 6 National Championships, one of the early practiotioners of the forward pass, the 1st to use shock troops or 2nd team performers, to wear down the opposing team's 1st string and the leader of the famed Notre Dame Irish ... I'm going with Knute Rockne better known as "The Rock"

I loved his T-formations, it reminds me of that game where you must find the nut under one of the three shells after they've been mixed around. I saw a High school team use it, who could never win any games before. I think it was a school out of Carolina, anyways they've won consistent Championships since then.

I picked him as well; obviously b/c I am a fan but also because of the above successes named. I mean, seriously, what an accomplished human being and I can't imagine how much further he would have gone had it not been for his very untimley death.

Good point! Rockne deserves all the props he gets.
In his day, football barely made the news. Writers made their living on Boxing, Baseball and Horse Racing.
Rockne put football on the map. He is as responsible for that as ANY person, college or pro.

now that's the truth there Wiz. rockne did a lot for the game but the game wasn't what it is today. the 1st pass that the reciever was moving ( best way i can think to word this) i think that was rockne. in those days they threw hooks etc. reciever was always stoped. correct me if i've got this wrong. it'll be the 1st time that's happened.
