Rocky's Top 10 (which does count as 25% of the BCS standings).LOL Hey I could do as good as some of those morons.
1. South Florida - Hey they did beat WVU and won at Auburn. 2. Boston College - Key game against Va Tech in 2 weeks. GO EAGLES!! 3. Ohio State - Who knows? with their schedule SO FAR any major program would be undefeated. 4. South Carolina - Enjoy it now old ball coach, you come to Knoxville in 2 weeks. 5. LSU - Still a dominate team and will play for the NC. 6. Oklahoma - Loss to Colorado really hurt them. But Corso is googoo over you. 7. Oregon - Will go to a BCS bowl after they throttle USC. 8. WVU - Just better hope USF falls apart. 9. Cal - Why could'nt you have played like that against us (Tenn)!! 10. Kentucky - Will get routed by Florida this coming Saturday. Gotta go guys, got to get my AP vote turned in. |

my 10: 1. USF: wins over then ranked Auburn and WVU are big. plus they are undefeated 2. BC: they haven't played stellar competition but they beat Wake and then ranked GT which is better than.... 3. OSU: wins against Akron, Youngstown St., and Kent St. mean nothing to me 4. Oklahoma: I really hate putting them this high but they are a good team 5. Kentucky: Beating #1 really means something and UK has been great all year 6.Oregon: Pac-10 Champs?.... 7. LSU: two GREAT games in consecutive weeks, you cant blame them for losing, and i think they still can win the SEC 8. South Carolina: a very good team, if, IF LSU and UK somehow lose another game, Cocky could be dancin in New Orleans in the NC game 9. Arizona St.: 7-0 but against weak competition, Cal, Oregon, UCLA, and USC next 4 games, let's see if they are for real 10. Hawaii: who cares if it's in the WAC, undefeated is undefeated and i don't think Hawaii has a chance if they do make it to a BCS game but they still are my 10th best team

i don't have a top 10 anymore. i don't think i want one either. i'm just glad i don't gamble. i've not figured out why lsu plays hot & cold but they do. if i had to pick right now i'd say auburn can beat OSU Cal , okielahoma. texas. anydamnbody. & they'll get beat by william & mary. may be i need to pull for william & mary. the last 2 weeks i couldn't pick a winner at gun point. i'd say something good about boston college but i'm afraid they'd get beat. until yesterday i'd have said lsu can play with the best & arkansas has as good a backfield as anybody. some things are best left unsaid is what i've been told.

BC at 10 is easy for me. They have played no one. Wake Forest, Georgia Tech??? I have them ranked where they should be as the 4th best undefeated team in the nation. South Florida has already beaten Auburn and West Virginia and play in a tougher conference. I'll agree with you that Ohio State hasn't beaten anyone either but i think their defense is one of the best in the Nation. There is no doubt in my mind that Ohio State would beat Boston College in a head to head matchup. Arizona State has played at the very least, as equally of a competitive schedule as BC and have been more impressive in victory. For arguements sake i'll compare Arizona States schedule to BC's..... Arizona States wins.... (3-4) San Jose State 45-3 (4-3) Colarado 33-14 (2-4) San Diego State 34-13 (4-3) Oregon State 44-32 (2-4) Stanford 41-3 (2-5) Washington State 23-20 (2-4) Washington 44-20 Arizona state has won their games by an average of 22.7 points. Key victories for Arizona States opponents are Colarado over #4 Oklahoma, Oregon State over #10 Cal and Stanford over #13 USC. ASU's opponents have a combined D1 record of 19-27 Boston College wins... (4-2) Wake Forest 38-28 (1-5) NC State 37-17 (4-3) Georgia Tech 24-10 (3-4) Army 37-17 (5-1) Umass (D1AA) 24-14 (3-3) Bowling Green 55-24 (1-6) Notre Dame 27 -14 BC has won their games by an average of 16.9 points. Key victories for Boston College's opponents are Wake Forest over unranked Florida State, Georgia Tech over unranked Clemson and Notre Dame over unranked UCLA. BC's opponents have a combined D1 record of 16-23

I agree. They have played no one. They are #1 simply because it's a bigtime program. BC and USF definitely deserve to be ahead of them.

My top 10..
1. USF- Big Time wins over Auburn and West Virginia 2. OSU- Fall to #2 with a very favorable schedule 3. Oklahoma- With a loss, there still one of the best teams 4. LSU- Big win over Florida and a loss against a very good Kentucky team 5. Cal- Only loss came with very inexperienced freshman QB 6. Oregon- Falls close behind Cal, Possible Pac-10 Champ 7. Kentucky- Took down the #1 and have been solid all year 8. South Carolina- Tough to place behind Kentucky, Possible NC contender 9. Boston College- Good team but so called "Big wins" were not that big 10. Arizona State- Not a relatively tough schedule, but they are winning big 21. USC- I don't care what you say, they were 40 point favorites and lost to a QB who has never taken a snap |

Ohio State will most likely lose a game at some point. They have still not been tested this year and I worry that if they get into the title game, that there will be several one-loss teams that would most likely beat them that won't get a chance. For example, Oklahoma would whoop OSU and I think Oregon would beat them as well. I feel like USF would give them a good game but BC would get beat, they are still too high as well.
My top 10: 1. Ohio State 2. Oklahoma 3. Oregon 4. USF 5. LSU 6. Kentucky 7. South Carolina 8. Arizona State 9. Boston College 10. California |

BC, OSU and USF should not be Top 3 teams. This just shows how bizarre a season this is. The name of the game, folks, is to pick the easiest possible out of conference schedule! That way, if the rest of your conference is having an off year, you can walk to the NT game without breaking a sweat. ![]()
