BC, OSU and USF should not be Top 3 teams. This just shows how bizarre a season this is.

The name of the game, folks, is to pick the easiest possible out of conference schedule! That way, if the rest of your conference is having an off year, you can walk to the NT game without breaking a sweat.
Why shouldn't USF be a top 3 team? They have two very impressive wins under their belt, which is better than most. They've done it ON THE FIELD. That being said, I do think they will lose a Big East game to someone (hopefully us). I do think BC is overrated and will lose to VT, but they do have a fine QB. I think OSU is better this year than last, especially on defense.

In regard to strenghth of schedule, many schedules are made so far in advance, that it is hard to be critical or hold it against a team. Case in point; last year Louisville played Kansas State on the road and Miami at home. Louisville made a concerted effort to get some tougher OoC games and when those games were scheduled, both K-state and Miami were top ten teams. By the time the games come to fruition, K-state is rebuilding with a new coach and Miami is starting their current skid.
THIS year, Vandy backed out of the opener with us and we had to play Murray State as a fill in. Georgia Tech also backed out of a OoC game with us last season.

No florida in the top 10 at all? LSU will climb it's way back to the top. OSU... I would give possibly top 5. OSU's #1 spot makes the rankings I look like a bully, plundering his way through the short bus. Not a bad team, just think several other teams are more a threat for a national title.

The Gators will move back into the top 10 this week after they thump Kentucky. Gators by 3 touchdowns.

I would hate to see the Gators get back in the top 10 at this point. Especially if Kansas and ASU win. I would hate to see a two loss program in the top ten with two (BCS Conference) undefeated's on the outside looking in.

Oh, and Go Kentucky!!!

Oh, I mean that USF should be ranked Top 3 this year based on their body of work, but that this just shows the weaknesses of the present system, because I don't believe for a minute that they are actually a Top 3 team in the nation.

Unfortunately, I also think UF will beat Kentucky. Florida is better than some people realize.
