Pre-Season Rankings

I think everyones arguement about doing away with the rankings till the BCS comes out is getting stronger by the week. After tonight every team that started in the top 10 now has atleast 1 loss, some of them are not even ranked. Pitiful.

All too true. This season might just move us closer in the right direction.

1. Pac 10 ( competitive from 1-10.
2. SEC ( almost every team in this conference is competitive.
3. Big XII (easily the the third best conference, especially the North.
4. Big East ( USF, WVU, Cincinatti and Rutgers are all solid.
5. Big 10 (regardless of rankings OSU and Michigan holding it down.
6. ACC(BC is a fraud, IS VT for real???

Note: The Pac 10 and SEC are neck and neck with the Big XII solidly #3.

I'm OK with pre-season polls...they're fun. Also, the networks need something to rank teams to build up hype until the BCS comes out.

However, the BCS should enforce that all poll ballots must be destroyed and redone during BCS week #1.
