Matt Ryan

Due to the way the Heismen is done, Boston College is sitting at 6-0. Andre Woodson lost and didnt have his best game. Does this put Matt Ryan #1 on the Heisman list for QBs or #1 overall?

It's a shame that our defense can't stop anybody, because Brian Brohm is having a great year. His top three receivers were out with injury against Utah and he still passed for 464 yards and 4 TD's.

Andre Woodson is not that good.

Matt Ryan is a damn fine QB.

As of the minute i guess he would be in the top qb position for most. I'm still waiting to see what he can do against a quality defense. With that said, His numbers look good especially passing yards. He has a slightly better than average completion average. I don't really like his Touchdown to interception ratio compared to some of the other qb's that are still in the race. I would place him as the 4th Quarterback in the race personally. I still like Woodson, Dixon and Tebow better.

Yep the Mizzou Tigers are looking good and they're coming off a beatdown of the Huskers. I always likened Daniels to a Drew Brees mold of quarterback. I knew he was going to be special this year.

I m still trying to understand how people rank Tebow as a top QB. I dont think Tebow is there yet. Reason being, Tebow got the ball against LSU with a little over a minute left and went 1 for 5 passing and got sacked. Ok now look at Dixon, he gets the ball and has an extra 30 sec to Tebow. Dixon drives the length of the field going 7 of 9 passing and was looking to go to OT till his receiver fumbled. You can even say the same for Woodson who got the ball against Louisville with 1:30 left and drove the ball to score the game winning touchdown granted Louisville's defense is not the same as Cal or LSU. So far the only thing Tebow has shown me is he can put up big passing numbers against Western Kentucky

You make some valid points on Tebow. The same could be said of Ryan too. His numbers are impressive against teams like Bowling Green and UMass but what will he do against FSU, VaTeech or Clemson. I don't mean to take anything away from the guy but we just don't know how good he is yet because he hasn't played anyone.

Matt Ryans stat line....

I disagree about Tebow. This is his first year being a starter and it wasn't any old team he didn't drive down and win against. It was against the #1 team. To have his team in the lead for most of that game, and even giving his team a chance to win at the end is sensational. Playing at LSU obviously isn't easy (especially when LSU finally ranked #1). Tebow is better than Ryan. Tebow plays more talent and stat wise he has 22 total TD's and 1,955 total yards. But maybe those aren't heisman numbers.

I'd say he's #3 behind Jackson and McFadden and probably is just a hair above Tebow and the Gators...

You are making excuses for him. We are debating the top QB. You are in a way proving my point that he is not ready to be labeled as a top QB. I'm not saying he is bad athlete or hes not a GOOD QB but he is not the best right now. Answer one question for me, Your team has the ball and has 80 yds in front of them down by seven with 1:30 left on the clock and no timeouts.
You can have any QB you want who would it be? I bet Tebow is not him.

Yeah, he's got mobility, as well.

Daniel, Mizzou is great

No free lunches in D-1 and just because Nebraska has a rough patch they are not pushovers. Against them Danie hit 33/47 for 401 yards passing, and had 10 carries for 65 yards.
And, he got 4 touchdowns. I wish him well against OU.

Did anyone tell you they also lost to Auburn?
