NCAA Football Week 1 GDT

Figured I'd get this baby started. Watchin the BC-Central Michigan game. Not much of a game so far. And boy...that Stephen F. Austin-Tulsa game is really catching my eye too. LOL. Arizona State and Oregon State play later tonight against 1-AA schools. UTEP and SDSU will play tonight on CSTV. Don't wanna miss that one.

OSU Beavers are halfway to 80 at halftime. Rather boring games tonight. One of the more entertaining ones is surprisingly Northern Arizona at #24 Arizona State score is tied at 14 right now. ASU looks hugely overrated as usual.

Nevada @ Fresno State tonight in an early season WAC matchup. Should be a good game. I look for the Bulldogs to win it 24-17.

Dwayne Wright is the name. He is a senior running back. I'm eager to see Fresno State as the Ducks will be playing them in week 2.

i'll be watching him. i love strong running games.

so far, i'm unimpressed with fresno state's cheerleaders and the ~100 fans in the stadium.

i didn't know soul asylum was still recording. i wish they weren't, because that song sucked.

hey, they're playing kernkraft 3000's "zombie nation" in the stadium. that always pumps me up!

wow, what the hell is espn doing? they're screwing the hell out of the video and audio... now they had to cut to commercial and the kickoff is about to happen!

cuts back to the game just in time for a nice run by fresno state's freshman rb. ~15 yards or so.

WOW! what a powerful 17yd gain up the gut. he was carryin' all kinds of fools.

nevada needs to practice tackling.

fresno state fumbles inside the 10, nevada recovers.

nevada qb misses the receiver deeeeep downfield.

nevada punts. fresno state's ball at midfield. first play is a deep pass, and nevada interferes.

Some of the worst game management I have ever seen out of Nevada. Horrible timeouts and play choices. Looked like they weren't ready for this one. Fresno Looks great and their opponents need to look out. Their only competition should be Boise State in the WAC. Oregon needs to watch out next week.

Brian Leonard? He's good, but it's been ALL Ray Rice today. Game's not even over with 7:22 left in the game (Rutgers up 21-10), and Rice already has about 196 yards on 29 touches.

NEWS UPDATE TO RUTGERS: STOP WITH THE LATE HITS!

UPDATE THE SECOND: Aaaaaand it's official! The Rutgers Scarlet Knights beat the University of North Carolina Tar Heels 21-16. Ray Rice with 3 TDs and 201 yards rushing, he is my Man of the Match, so to speak.

I'm looking forward to the Irish game tonight. Should be a good one. BTW, did anyone else see Penn State's schedule. That thing is nasty.

After the easy one last year and the real easy one next year, they should play a decent schedule now and then. By the way, the best news of the day. Montana State-19, sCUm-10.
