All college football teams have a certain karma - a style which delivers them a champion when it is followed to the letter.
At Texas A&M, that style is DEFENSE. The D has been a keynote on every champion A&M has produced since 1917, - DX Bible, Homer Norton, Bear Bryant, Jackie Sherrill, R.C. Slocum et all understood this - DF doesn't.

Oh and by the way, so does Weis at ND because he has not capitalized on THEIR historic strong suite - quality individual and team execution in the basics of football. ND goes for discipline in execution - Weis cannot comprehend.

Agreed! Franchione made excuses when Oklahoma blasted us 77-0 in his first year, saying that he needs to recruit players to use in his system. That loss was the year following upsetting them 30-26 in R.C. Slocums last year as head coach when they were ranked #1. I don't believe our talent level resulted in an 81 pt. swing in one year. It's called coaching. He now has his players and considering that OU whipped Miami 51-13 this year and the Miami game was not as close as the score, it could be brutal again! This time though, with "his players". What excuse will he make then?

Thank God & Greyhoud he's gone is all i can say for Fran. I hate that Ea& M got him & has to deal with it. but i'm glad he's not at Bama anymore. all the sports talk shows etc. today were making fun of him & Bama fans actually pulling for miami.
strange thing on what Dat Fan said........... & he's right about it too........ it is coaching. funny how Saban is winning with alot of Shula's recruits.

Feel sorry for Aggie fans. Hopefully they fire him or he will abandon ship(thankfully he did at Alabama). I havent followed much on A&M or TCU for that matter but in yalls opinion does it not seem like he comes into a good situation fairs well and then drives the program into rebuilding mode? Like I said I dont know how long he was at TCU but I do know what Alabama look like after he left and I think A&M was in decent shape when he got there.
