Darren McFadden

This man is by far and away the best player in College football. I challenge anyone to tell me not.

Tebow looked awesome, but he's not on D-Mac's level.

MS ....... you are right on the Mac Guy. he is good. make that IS good. bad part of it is yesterday was really their 1st game & he'll just get better. like a tank holding a football. & impossible to make him fumble.
i watched some of Tebow. tho i was pulling for the Vols. i also saw the florida walk over to Tebow after he scored a TD & kiss him on the cheek.

Not only is DMAC the best college football player he is the sweetest person you could ever meet. This kid is humble and a born leader. Just being around him is an instant mood changer.....any team that gets him next year is really getting a gem. This kid is 100% heart!

Couldn't agree more.

I checked the RB statistics last night, Mike Hart through four games is way ahead of both McFadden and Slaton.

Couldn't disagree more.

If McFadden ran behind that line, he would have just as many if not more than Hart.

Slaton 84 carries 502 yds 9 tds 4 games
per game 21 carries 125 yds 2.3 tds

Hart 127 carries 655 yds 6 tds 4 games
per game 32 carries 164 yds 1.5 tds

McFadden 86 carries 519 yds 3 tds 3 games
per game 29 carries 173 yds 1.0 td

Rice 74 carries 431 yds 8 tds 3 games
per game 25 carries 144 yds 2.7 tds

Out of the three categories listed Hart leads in one, carries. How is Hart way ahead of McFadden, Slaton, or even Rice. BTW Hart also averages the fewest yds per rush between the four at 5.2 with Slaton and McFadden both averaging 6.0 and Rice at 5.8

Dont forget yardage.

I'll admit i went through the statistics a little quick last night. What stuck out in my head was Mike Harts lead over McFadden in Yards, Carries and Touchdowns.

Looking at the numbers a case could easily be made for no less than 6 backs being the best. McFadden is good but not nearly as dominate as the sports media makes him out to be. The Fact that he and Jones are about all that Arkansas has makes him (unfairly) stick out imo. The other top backs all have a multitude of weapons.

Stats aside,I gotta take Hart here. He is the heart and soul of that Michigan team. When some of his team mates quit he never did. I loved how this kid gaurenteed victory than went out and performed. I also see Michigan winning more games on Harts shoulder this year than Arkansas on McFaddens.
