I would say LeFevour has no shot, theres alot of other QB's who could come closer than he ever would and I'd put Manningham way ahead of Dillard on WR's with a chance to win Heisman.

This years gonna be the closest, most tauted, down to the last week no front runner, back and forth fight for the heisman trophy in years... You got so many legitamite Blue Chip athletes this year that can be argued for its ridiculous... So much so im already looking forward to next years NFL draft... But heres my 5
McFadden ( The next L.T in my beloved personal opinion) P.J Hill , Is a CLOSE 2nd( Its tragic that this year is so stacked cuz any other year he wins the Trophy...) Brohm is 3rd just because McBadass, and Hill play in defensive juggernaut conferances like the SEC, and Big Ten Colt McCoy although i like to rag on TexAss hes got tremendous upside Slaton, like brohm doesnt play in a defensive conferance |

I'd say Colt Brennan deserves it the most how can you turn down a guy who is going to break every division 1A college football passing record. They have one of the easier schedules but if they go undefeated and get a BCS game thats even more well deserved. Wouldn't mind seeing them play a top team in a bowl game either to see how good Brennan really is.

One thing to remember when considering candidates is that only once in the BCS era has a Heisman winner not played in a BCS Bowl Game (Ricky Williams-Texas).
That's why I'm not too high on McFadden. I don't think Arkansas has much hope of winning the SEC West...nevermind the entire conference. I like P.J. Hill...if the shoulder can stay healthy. |
