I was wondering how walk ons really work? Is there an age limit? What is the process to become a walk on for a school?

go to the school and go to the try outs as long as you still have eligibility

Talk to the coaches and find out what you have to do to earn a scholarship. Making the team, through tryouts, is just the first step.
