ESPN.com - NCF - Report: OU RB Peterson to skip senior year, turn pro

not that its any surprise, but Oklahoma RB Adrian Peterson, acoording to reports, will enter the 2007 NFL draft.

Wasn't he a finalist in the Heisman voting his freshman year?

How many players can boast that accomplishment..?

Kid's a good man. I like any player who grows up poor, lives his life poor, and then makes some money doing what they love. It's the best rags to riches story. Chad did it, TO did it, The Vick's did it. I'm sure almost 60% of the players in the NFL have done it.

I wish him the best but i'm starting to doubt him as an NFL running back. He looked real sluggish against Boise State coupled with the fact that the other OU back (Patrick) numbers were better than Petersons.... Makes me wonder if Peterson is a product of the OU system or truly a great back???
