heisman favorites for next year?

I think the top 10-, IMO, are Darren McFadden, P.J. Hill, Steve Slaton, Ted Ginn Jr., JaMarcus Russell, Colt Brennan, Colt McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, Ian Johnson, so many more, but we are guarnteed a great year of college football next year.

Russell, Ginn and Lynch will be playing on Sundays next season. Overall a good list though.

McFadden, if he can get any passing game what so ever...Mustain should be ready to go by then.

Adrian Peterson is also up there should he decide to not go pro, which would be foolish.

James Davis is having a spat with the coaches at Clemsux. CJ Spiller might be #1 on the depth chart come next fall.

Look for Sidney Rice to have a big year, I don't think he'll get the Heisman, but he's going to be a beast for sure.

Looks like all the good ones are going in next year's draft Lynch, Ted Ginn Jr. and J. Russell........so i'll go with the homer pick and say Colt McCoy wins the Heisman next year.

BTW, how are you a Tennessee Titan fan and a Univ of Texas fan........you gotta let those LUV YA BLUE days go!!!!!!!

My greatest disappointment "92 Oilers" loss to Buffalo

If Ginn still has the dream to compete in the Olympics he will return for his senior year. When he first attended Ohio State he said he would stay for all four years so he could compete in the next Summer Games.

i have to go with Preds on this. i hate to see most guys leave early. some have had good reasons to. but it's best to finish what you started. with the names like mcfadden peterson & rice just to name a few, & i like colt mccoy, just names that stuck out well enough to remember easy, it'll be a hard pick to make.

Sidney Rice should be on the list of preseason Heisman candidates.

A few more names all throw out there, Ainge, R. Rice and Beck, from BYU.

yeah sidney rice was mentioned by Preds. Ainge could be one the best for the year. should've could've but didn't do better this past year. really tennessee in general should've been better this year. now the fans there are fussing about fulmer. i hope they look south & learn. my God it's getting to where you can't have a bad year. unlike many bama fans i don't hold a grudge with fulmer for turning bama in. not like bama wouldn't turn in tennessee. fulmer didn't break rules. bama did. they got caught & it doesn't matter who did what. i can barely remember the incident with spurrier & bama. i think it'd have been Dubose. spurrier walked up & gave him a note. told what he knew & to fix it. bama fans jumped on spurrier. well he did what he should've done & did it in a hush hush & a decent way. spurrier is the no good sob you hate to play against. but he's a good coach & a pretty upstanding guy. just don't tell the birmingham news i said that.

IF Colt has recovered from the Neck injury (some never do...) and has a solid Bowl Game, then He will be in the top 5 of the Heisman candidacy list as a JR come Preseason. He was being mentioned as a Top 5 this year prior to KState injury and had the Longhorns won out and gone to Pasadena (or wherever) his Chances of going to NY this year would have been extremely high.

You left off Louisville QB Brian Brohm, if he doesn't leave early. He gets back his top two receivers in Mario Urrutia and Harry Douglas, plus they add the #1 wide receiver from the juco ranks ( his name slips my mind right now).

The 6'-6" Urrutia could also be a candidate. He's really good now, but has a chance to go nuts next year.
