Cleveland Browns Rutgers in the Fiesta Bowl???

If Rutgers beats WV on the road i think they would have to be in the Championship as an undefeated underrated team... if an ACC went undefeated they would be in... But the ACC is by far the worst conferance... the big east is not as bad as people are saying, and may be better than the ACC the Big Twelve and the Weak Ten, ( Pac)... React to me...

Name one Big East team that could beat an ACC team. There are teams in the Big East that even Duke could beat. Cup cake schedules don't make a strong conference. Rutgers is a fluke and all this noise about them when cease once WVU hands them their heads. Then the Big East can crawl back into obscurity....

I'll give you 3, Rutgers, WVU and Louisville. C'mon VaTechNut the ACC may have more depth, but this season the top 3 Big East teams are far better than the top 3 ACC teams.

ACC ? i'll take georgia tech. & it's pink chablet on the wine question. & VT nut..... miami was picked on this board to be the best team in the state of florida a few weeks ago. i posted that it was best team. not favorite team. bama is my favorite team in this state. but it seems tennessee is the best team in this state. or closest to it. i'll take georgia tech over west Va too.
the humor on these posts were great. lol !!!!!!

it wont matter

they're not gonna win anyways. WV is going to run the ball down their throat all day. there's gonna be no successful game planning against white & co. watch for a big day passing for him too.

Rutgers may be in a not so respected conference but all year the more "respected" teams have played these teams to help with recruiting and overall appearance of the sport for the college but how will any of that help by not letting them go to the game that they have rightfully earned because of the conference. Rutgers has 0 losses this year. If you ask me who does USC and Florida really play compared to Rutgers. They play good teams but not those as respected as Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, so on so forth. The only reason they are ranked well is because they dont have as demanding of a schedule as the teams above. So why not let the underdog team have a chance at the national championship. They have earned it. If Texas and USC last year would have only played teams like Rutgers would they have deserved to go to the National Championship game. YES

I'd have to disagree about the Pac-10 being weak. I feel like a lot of the teams here would compete with pretty much any team from any given conference (Just ask the Big XII). The problem with the Pac-10 is USC gets to recruit everyone and leaves the rest of the teams in the conference to settle for second tier guys and so the other teams besides USC all beat up on each other.

Representatives from the Fiesta Bowl were at the Boise State game and were seemingly pleased with what they saw. Given that Boise State will get a BCS bowl, it's likely they'll get the Fiesta Bowl and Rutgers would go to some other BCS bowl. The Star Ledger layed out the scenarios for Rutgers: Rose if everything falls into place (USC wins and goes to the National Championship and Rutgers gets picked to play Michigan in the Rose), Sugar (if the Rematch happens and Rutgers is picked to play the SEC champions), Orange (something else, it's all quite complicated).

They just need to beat West Virginia in their own house. No problem. South Florida beat them in West Virginia just this past weekend.

South Florida is an underated team. They have tons of speed on defense, probably the fastest defense in the Big East. If their offense was consistent, they would be a real tough team. Nobody has put up numbers on their defense. Louisville was able to put some points up on them after they got tired becuase their offense couldn't get any 1st downs against us.
