Colt McCoy

I won't mind doing a little chest thumping here. Anyone watching just saw Colt McCoy engineer the game winning drive just shy of Texas' 20 yard line against a top ranked Buckeyes defense with 2 mins left.

This is what legends are made of. Why Ohio State left so much time on the clock is beyond me.

Bradford who? McCoy is the best QB in the country hands down.

When Colt started that drive shy of the 20 yard line, I said that this is where Vince Young made himself the best college quarterback. Move over Vince, Colt just proved to the nation that he is the best QB in the nation and Texas is the best damn team in the nation!!

HOOK EM!!

LOL that was a thing of beauty, as Ohio St. was moving the ball I said to myself that the best thing Texas could do was let them score, at that point I just knew that they would take it the length of the field for the go ahead TD.

2 mins is ample time for Colt to work his magic ... Hook em baby

McCoy has been very impressive all though out his college career. He's been a fine representative of the Big-XII.

VY has done NOTHING in the NFL. he cant throw, he's like a big fat michael vick. i said last year that kerry collins runs the offense better and he'd be the starter this year and i was right

Colt will def be better in the NFL than Vince. Colt uses his eyes before he goes to his legs. Vince is all legs and needs to learn how to handle pressure in the pocket. We have all seen how long scramblers last in the NFL.

Not to be inflammatory with my first post, so I'd like to say that I know nothing about any of you or this forum and previous statements you've made so this isn't directed at anyone specific. I find it hypocritical that SEC fans and now Texas fans crow about their achievements against Ohio State in the NC game and Rose Bowl yet when USC steamrolled them you hear nothing but cries of how meaningless the win is and how USC's reputation is built on beating up on the 'Little 10' etc. Eh?

This is about Colt McCoy...who is the best QB, but like all Big 12 qb's, will most likely be a flop in the pro's.
The big 12 doesnt play D anymore , it is sad.

I think Colt is still NFL ready regardless of the non existance of D in the Big 12. He'll do fine, he's got his mechanics down, and looks fundamentally sound.

McCoy will do O.K. in the Pros, but Bradford is a better pick. McCoy is too injury prone. He had to depend on a blown coverage to beat Ohio State, a team that USC hung 35 on and only played the first 3 quarters of that game. Bradford has better overall tools. Look for some sleeper to emerge as a better QB in the NFL than any of the alleged "Big 3".
