This could be a sleeper team in the Big 10. They have a nice mix of offensive and defensive players coming back, and they tend to fly under the radar. They are capable of an upset, or being upset.

Purdue will go 8-4. Very similar type of team as last year. Hopefully the defense is a little better. It was terrible last year.

And people wonder why the Big 10 is such a poor conference when it comes to Bowl Games. Look at that non-con schedule that Purdue plays. Still, the only sure losses I see on this schedule are to Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State. This is why people make big money fading the Big 10 in bowl games.

I don't know if it is the best conference, but it sure as hell is better than that poor excuse of a conference called the Big 10. They sure did wonderful in last year's bowl season, didn't they. Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Purdue showed just how good the Big 10 really is.

All of them played good teams too. You act like they all played cup cakes in their bowl games.

Are you saying that the Big 10 did not do well in bowl games because they had to play good teams? Maybe I missed something here, but isn't the object of a bowl game to pit two good teams against each other? I sure did't see the Big 10 being huge dogs in any of their bowl game except the Iowa-Texas game. As a matter of fact, wasn't Ohio State the #1 team in the nation and wasn't Michigan fans crying because they were not #2? What happened to those two teams?
