Coach Fran....Stay or Go?

The end of an era....Coach Fran back to coaching girls high school soccer. Will A&M keep him much longer if he doesnt produce this year?

I don't think so, but who knows? Football is pretty important to them...I have a friend who goes there, and when it's football season that's all we talk about. I can't imagine them keeping someone who can't get results.

I hear from a good source that if my Ags don't get atleast 9 wins with a victory at home vs Tech or on the road against the t-sips, he's out. He made Torbush the escape goat for last seasons debacle. He hired his friend Darnell to coach the defense against popular opinion, which will lead to his demise if not successful.

i really don't care if he goes stays or what. just whatever you do don't send the SOB back to alabama. people are glad he's gone & want him to stay gone.
Frangonie as reffered to here. we don't like liars or sissy sweaters. on senond thought, just keep him out there. i won't even watch his team play on tv.
wanna know how i really feel? lol

hoover was leading again this year. but i haven't talked to my buddy from hoover. he keeps up with it. john parker wilson's brother is QB this year in hoover. doing good. i hope he can scramble. JP can't. ask auburn. hoover did loose one game & i think it was out of state. they may have played ohio state. or mighigan. i'm not real sure. could've been after the ball state game. lol & yes that was a slam on an easy schedule. i'll say i'm sorry in advance to those fans.
& you can bet nobody in alabama likes fran. not even many auburn fans. i think he'll be turned loose at the end of the year. for starters i'd want a coach that did play football. & the sweaters have to go.

yes hoover lost against a team from La.(louisana) ross wilson is a little bit more mobile than JP but shorter....i follow HS ball. can you find out who played for me, i think the state of Alabama deserves credit for producing good athletes. Pat white from west va. is from daphne and he is special. thanks----i don't have alot of background info on franch. , he is hated that much down there huh????

See if I can breath some life back into this thread. Tech was alumni weekend so I witnessed that tragic game, and it was my opinion then and still is today if you are going to move on... which they aren't doing this year... you'd better have someone better lined up. I dont' think they felt like there was a better option available to them after this last season. This year the schedule will be a lot less forgiving on the road to Tech, Oklahoma, and Nebraska and of course Texas at home. He better find a way to be 2-2 through those games or this will be his last year to walk the sidelines at the great Kyle field.

Fran go away!!!

hey why dont we just get rid of fran before the last game of the season. I think fran has given up on the team and well he knows hes not going to be here next year. Why do we give him the benefit of the doubt and keep him here anyway? We dont use our players in an offensive that works for them instead of himself, and he insist on calling plays that dont work every week. The Sport Admin. needs to wake up and well open his eyes to a new coach and get started early. Wait, hold on oh and fran take Gary Darnell with you cuz yall cant seem to get on the same page ever.

For Aggy fans, he needs to go. For Longhorns, Sooners, Red Raiders etc., I hope he stays.

It would be the biggest buy out in NCAA history, we'd have to pay him over 10 mill to get rid of him.

Exactly, we need someone to step on in the conference.

But there has been rumors that Mike Sherman might take the job (remember now, he was the O-line coach for 7 years when Kubiak was there and an inside source says that's why he took the Texans gig so he could be close to A&M when they fire Franchione), although if I was a faggie fan, I would be looking at Tuberville

What about Gary Patterson? I like Tubberville but that's a huge buyout. Patterson already has major recruiting connections in Texas. I'm very curious to see how this plays out.
